The Jio tablet could run on PragatiOS out of the box, which is the company’s in-house OS that was built in association with Google for the Jio Phone Next. The tablet should offer a large screen and should feature Google Play Store pre-installed to download apps and games. We can speculate the tablet device could be powered by an entry-level Qualcomm chipset given Jio’s partnership with Qualcomm. The Jio tablet price in India should be on the aggressive side considering we have seen some affordable tablets already from the likes of Realme and Motorola.
On the other hand, Jio TV could have smart features like support for OTT apps. It’s possible the telecom giant may bundle the set-up box that it offers with Jio Fiber broadband with the TV. There could be multiple size options and all of them could be priced affordably. It appears that Jio is aiming to create an eco-system of its own, with its Jio telecom, Jio broadband, Jio laptop, Jio TV, Jio laptop, and Jio Phone. We hope to learn more details about the Jio TV and tablet soon.
