Komaki Electric Vehicle Division has launched the Komaki LY Pro electric scooter with a dual battery setup in India. This EV boasts two removable battery packs and can be charged up fully in about five hours. The electric scooter also features modern-day amenities like LED lighting, a TFT display for instrumentation, cruise control, reverse park assist and more. The company claims that the Komaki LY Pro has quality, performance, design, safety and long-term reliability as its key strengths.
Komaki LY Pro electric scooter price in India
The Komaki LY Pro electric scooter has been priced at Rs 1,29,500 (ex-showroom) for the double battery variant and Rs 95,866 (ex-showroom) for the single battery variant in India. The price might vary based on state taxes and subsidies. The Komaki LY Pro electric scooter will be available in three colour options Cherry Red, Black and Grey. The price point puts it up against established players such as TVS iQube, Ather 450X, Ola S1 and Bajaj Chetak.
Komaki LY Pro electric scooter specifications
The Komaki LY Pro electric scooter gets a 3kW hub motor with 38 AMP controllers and derives power from two G2V32AH batteries. These batteries are removable. The batteries charge via a dual connector and can be charged in about 5 hours when charged simultaneously. The electric scooter delivers a claimed range of 80km to 85km of range on the single battery model while it boosts up to 160km to 180km on dual battery models.
The Komaki LY Pro electric scooter manages a top speed of 62kmph and gets three modes Eco, Sports and Turbo. The top speed is reduced to 58kmph when in Eco mode. The Komaki LY Pro electric scooter also features reverse mode and cruise control. For safety, Komaki claims to have equipped it with anti-skid technology and the scooter comes fitted with 12-inch wheels.
The Komaki LY Pro electric scooter gets a connected vehicle platform that allows onboard navigation, a sound system, Bluetooth, calling options, and ready-to-ride features. The controls can be accessed via a TFT display onboard. The scooter also gets LED lighting, alloy wheels, telescopic front suspension, dual disc brakes, remote key etc.
