Lava Agni 5G is the company’s first 5G-enabled phone in the country and is all set to launch later today at 12 PM IST. The whole event will be live-streamed through the company’s YouTube channel. The phone’s design and specifications have been revealed via the company’s official listing. It has a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, a rectangular camera module to house quad-cameras, led by a 64MP primary sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Key specifications include a 90Hz refresh rate, a 5000mAh battery, MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset, and Android 11 OS.

Lava Agni 5G complete specifications are yet to be revealed but the phone is confirmed to ship with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, a 90Hz refresh rate, and probably an FHD+ panel. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G mobile platform, meaning it should take on the likes of Realme and Redmi phones in the segment. The phone will run on Android 11 OS out of the box with a near-stock Android UI on top. It is confirmed to feature “Gaming Mode” to further improve the gaming experience on the device.
