“The Helium 14 is a budget notebook with an Intel Atom processor, 2GB of RAM and up to nine hours of battery life”
Last year, Lava launched the Windows 10-powerd Twinpad convertible. Now, the company has finally debuted in the full-fledged laptop market with the launch of the Helium 14. The company has collaborated with Microsoft and Intel to come up with the budget notebook. The notebook boots Windows 10 Home Edition, and gets an inbuilt Trusted Platform Module (TPM) microchip to provide hardware-based security, said the brand.
The Lava Helium 14 notebook features a 14.1-inch full HD display, and is powered by an Intel Atom processor. The laptop comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, which can be further increased up to 128GB by inserting a microSD card. It features a 2-megapixel HD webcam, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports, a mini HDMI port and a 10,000mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to nine hours of battery life.
The Lava Helium 14 has been priced at Rs 14,999, and comes in silver and purple variants. The notebook is available to buy online exclusively on Flipkart. It will also be available via select retail stores and multi-brand outlets across Delhi, NCR, Coimbatore, Hyderabad and Bangalore from the first week of July.
