If you’re looking for a budget handset running Android 4.4.2 KitKat, your options are limited. While the Moto E is being hailed by many as the best entry-level smartphone, the daily drama surrounding its going in and out of stock on Flipkart is becoming a bit of a joke. Indian manufacturer Lava, which has the advantage of a good network of sellers and distributors across the country, recently unveiled its competing offering in the form of the Iris X1. Boasting an elegant design, dual cameras and the latest Android version, it looks like the real deal, at least from the outset.
