“The Ideacentre Stick PC 300 can turn your HDMI-enabled TV into a full-fledged computer”
In June this year, Lenovo introduced its Ideacentre Stick PC 300 compact computer running Windows 8.1. Now the device is up for pre-orders on Lenovo’s The Do Store online sales platform in India. Similar to the Intel’s Compute Stick (overview) and iBall Splendo, the Stick PC 300 can turn your HDMI-enabled TV into a full-fledged computer.
The Lenovo Stick PC 300 runs Windows 8.1, but is upgradable to Windows 10. The Google Chromecast-sized accessory is powered by a quad-core Intel Baytrail Z3735F processor, aided by 2GB of RAM. The device has 32GB of internal memory, and accepts microSD cards up to 128GB for further storage expansion. For connectivity, it offers an HDMI connector, a micro-USB 2.0 port for power, and a USB 2.0 port to connect with external devices like a mouse or a keyboard.
The Lenovo Stick PC 300 compact USB-sized computer has been priced at Rs 9,999. The pre-orders are live starting today, and the device will start shipping from September 25th.
