Lenovo has refreshed its Legion series gaming laptops and the IdeaPad L340. The new laptops in the Lenovo Legion series are Legion Y740, Legion Y540, Legion Y7000, and Legion Y7000p or Lenovo Legion Y545. These come with the latest 9th generation Intel Core mobile processors and the latest NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 and 1660 Ti GPUs. The Legion Y740 supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos speaker System.

Lenovo Legion Y740

  • The 15-inch Lenovo Legion Y740 with 9th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti starts at $1610 (around Rs 1,12,500) and the 17-inch Lenovo Legion Y740 Laptop with the same CPU and GPU start at $1670 (around Rs1,16,700). Both these will be available starting May 2019.
  • The 15-inch Lenovo Legion Y540 with 9th Gen Intel Core i7 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti starts at $1210 (around Rs 84,550) and will be available starting May 2019 while the 17-inch model with the same CPU and GPU start at $1270 (around Rs 88,700) and will be available starting June 2019.
  • The 15-inch Lenovo Legion Y7000p with 9th Gen Intel Core i7 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 starts at $980 (around Rs 68,450 approx.) and will be available starting May 2019. The 15-inch model with 9th Gen Intel Core i7 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti starts at $1200 (around Rs 83,820) and will be available starting May 2019.
  • The 15-inch Lenovo IdeaPad L340 with 9th Gen Intel Core i7 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 starts at $870 (around Rs 60,800), and the 17-inch model with the same CPU and GPU start at $920 (around Rs 64,300). Both these will be available starting May 2019.
  • The availability and pricing of the Legion Y7000 will be announced later. However, it won’t be available in North America.

Lenovo Legion series and IdeaPad L340 gaming laptops specifications

The Lenovo Legion Y740 is powered by up to 9th Gen Intel Core i7 mobile processor with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 GPU with Max-Q design and GeForce 1660 Ti as another graphics option. It comes in 15-inch and 17-inch display 144Hz full HD (1,080 X 1920p) display with NVIDIA G-Sync and support for Dolby Vision. The laptop packs up to 32GB of DDR4 2666Mhz RAM, and RGB keyboard and system lighting powered by Corsair’s iCue suite. It also features a Dolby Atmos speaker System with Dolby Sound Radar.

Lenovo Legion Y7000p

The Legion Y7000p is powered by up to 9th Gen Core i7 processor with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU, as well as GeForce GTX 1660 Ti and 1650 GPU options. It also comes with a 144Hz display, a full-sized backlit keyboard and thermal optimisations to run cooler. While the Legion Y7000 sports a crimson red “Y” lighting and full-sized red-backlit keyboard. It is powered by up to 9th Gen Intel Core i7 mobile processor with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU or an option to choose between GeForce GTX 1660 Ti or 1650 GPUs. It sports a 15-inch IPS anti-glare 144Hz display with 300 nits brightness.

Lenovo Legion Y540

The Lenovo Legion Y540 and IdeaPad L340, in-line with the other gaming laptops, are powered by up to 9th Gen Intel Core i7 processors. While the Y540 packs NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU, the IdeaPad L340 gets NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphics. Both the laptops offer 15-inch and 17-inch display variants. The Legion Y540 features Lenovo
Legion Coldfront dual fan thermal layout that keeps the laptop cool, regardless of the usage and comes with Harman Kardon speakers and supports Dolby Atmos.
