Lenovo has launched its newest 2-in-1 called the Lenovo Yoga 6 in India. Unlike most laptops that come with a metal finish, the Lenovo Yoga 6 uses a fabric-wrapped textile cover. It comes with a previous-generation AMD Renoir APUs, complete with a Radeon GPU. Some AMD Cezanne-based models would have been nice, but we can expect them to drop later this year. Since it is a 2-in-1 laptop, the Lenovo Yoga 6 comes with a 360-degree hinge that allows you to flip it over and use it as a tablet. Lenovo has posted a short video highlighting some key Lenovo Yoga 6 features.

Lenovo Yoga 6 Price in India

The entry-level Lenovo Yoga 6 variant will cost Rs 86,990 in India. It will be available for purchase starting March 10th across online and offline retail outlets. However, this is a promotional price and Lenovo says that the laptop’s actual cost is Rs 1,21,690. As a part of the promotion, Lenovo is throwing in a free backpack and Bluetooth mouse with the laptop. It only applies to a Lenovo Yoga 6 bought from the company’s official website. Other e-commerce portals such as Flipkart and Amazon should have their own offers.

Lenovo Yoga 6 specifications

Its upper-mid-range AMD Ryzen 7 4700U processor puts the Lenovo Yoga 6 on the higher-end of the spectrum. It can be paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of solid-state storage via an NVMe SSD. The processor can be paired with an AMD Radeon Vega 7 GPU, but there are models with Intel iGPUs available, too. This appears to be the maxed-out models. We can expect Lenovo to unveil lower-end Lenovo Yoga 6 variants soon.

The Lenovo Yoga 6 comes with a 13.6-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) touch-enabled IPS LCD panel with 400 nits peak brightness and 10-point multitouch and direct glass bonding. It can be used with the included Lenovo Digital Pen and supports up to 4,096-level pressure sensitivity. With only 72 percent NTSC spectrum coverage, it isn’t the most colour-accurate panel on the market, but it should be enough for day-to-day tasks.

Connectivity options on the Lenovo Yoga 6 include two USB 3.2 Type-A Gen 1 ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C Gen 2 ports, and a headphone/mic combo jack. There is no HDMI port, but one can use the USB Type C ports for video output. They can also charge the laptops via compatible USB PD chargers. Wireless connectivity is enabled via Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 6. Lastly, the Lenovo Yoga 6i weighs only1.32kg. Its 60Wh power allows for up to 18 hours of usage. The laptop also comes with a fingerprint reader for biometric authentication. Its 1MP webcam has a privacy shutter that can be shut when it is not in use.
