LG Folder 2 4G dual-screen flip phone has been launched as a successor to the LG Folder that was announced back in 2018. In addition the primary display, the LG Folder 2 4G touts a secondary 0.9-inch mono screen on the cover that can surface messages, calls, time, battery life and signal status. There is a T9 keyboard and SOS key on the back that will quickly call pre-registered numbers at the time of emergency and also sends location information through a text message. The hotkey button above the call button brings up AI voice service or recording function depending on the carrier. The LG Folder 2 features data security lock function that prevents any data charge.

The LG Folder 2 price is set at WON 198,000 (around Rs 12,400) and the flip phone will come in Platinum Grey and White colours. It will go on sale in South Korea starting from April 17th.

LG Folder 2 flip specifications include a 2.8-inch QVGA display with 320 X 240 pixels resolution and a 0.9-inch mono front screen. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 SoC coupled with Adreno 304 GPU, 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage that is further expandable via microSD card up to 32GB. There is a 2MP camera, FM Radio and SOS button. The LG Folder 2 flip phone measures 107.9x55x18mm and weighs 127 grams. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS. Lastly, A 1,470mAh battery fuels the phone and is likely to boot Android OS, but LG hasn’t revealed the version number.
