LG has expanded its range of Android tablets with the launch of the G Pad X2 8.0 Plus in the US. The tablet ships with an accessory called the Plus Pack, which works as a kick stand and expands the battery of the slate by another 4,400mAh. It also comes with a stereo speaker and a full size USB port to attach USB drives and hard drives.
As for the other features, the LG G Pad X2 8.0 Plus offers an 8-inch full HD display. It is powered by an unnamed 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. There’s no word regarding the slate’s RAM, but we do know that it gets 32GB of storage, which can be further increased up to 2TB by inserting a microSD card.
The G Pad X2 8.0 Plus offers a 5-megapixel camera at both the front and rear. The slate comes with 4G LTE and Bluetooth 4.2 for connectivity. The tablet boots Android 7.0 Nougat, and comes with a quick button to launch a configurable application. A 2,900mAh battery keeps the slate running. The device is a slim offering with a 6.9mm waistline.
The LG G Pad X2 8.0 Plus is available for T-Mobile subscribers in the US for $240 (~Rs 15,400). There also are some additional accessories on the offer for the tablet.
