LG to reportedly unveil G6 Pro and G6 Plus smartphones later this month

LG recently launched its latest flagship, the G6, in India. Just a few days after the launch, the brand dropped the price of the phone by Rs 10,000. Now it appears that the company is planning to launch two more variants of the LG G6 (review). According to South Korean news website ETnews, the brand is prepping the G6 Pro and G6 Plus variants.

As per the report, the LG G6 Plus will have almost the same set of specs as the G6, but will carry wireless charging capabilities and come with 128GB of storage. The price of this model is expected to be 9,99,000 Won (~Rs 57,350).

For the LG G6 Pro model, the source suggests that it will come with 32GB of storage, while the most of its features will be the same as the G6. This model has been tipped to be priced at 7,90,000 Won (~Rs 45,350).

ETnews suggests that the new LG G6 variants will go on sale by the end of June in Korea, followed by a launch in global markets later. The report also hints that LG wants to consolidate its budget devices under the X brand and launch multiple models of the V series in the future.
