- LG Q31 could be rebranded as LG K31 in specific markets
- Key specifications include MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, Android 10 OS, HD+ display and 2GB RAM
LG Q31 budget offering has been spotted on Google Play console, revealing the handset’s key specifications. This hints the handset’s launch may be inching closer. Interestingly, the LG Q31 listing also has a mention of LG K31, suggesting the handset could be a rebranded version of the LG K31, which was also spotted on the Google Play Console recently. Both the phones may launch with different monikers and could be region-specific.
According to the Google Play Console listing, the LG Q31 is tipped to come with MediaTek Helio P22 SoC coupled with PowerVR GE8320 GPU and 2GB RAM. The handset packs an HD+ display with 720 X 1,520 pixels resolution and boots Android 10 OS, probably skinned with custom layer on top. Not much else is revealed from the Google Play Console listing, but we will be on the lookout if more information surfaces online.
Separately, LG is reportedly planning to make a comeback in India after a brief break. It will launch phones from sub Rs 15,000 segment to flagships. The brand is also planning to ramp up local manufacturing and assembly by almost 15 times in time for Diwali and expand the distribution. It aims to introduce a total of six phones, starting from next month. LG is also toying with the idea of partnering with enterprise mobility partners to deliver phones to the enterprise segment as well. Not stopping there, LG intends to launch tablets in India before the end of this year to carter to new e-learning methods.
