More interesting is AI Video Enhancements, which adds HDR effects in real-time during video recording. It does that with the help of DOL-HDR technology, which enables better shadow detail and highlight retention to enhance the dynamic range.

The vivo X70 Pro 5G is a phone that uses the same MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset for offering a completely different set of camera experiences. vivo has tweaked the ISP and APU onboard the chipset for it to be able to better handle the camera features it wanted to introduce. An added benefit of this turned out to be the fact that the phone got a 30 per cent performance boost while consuming less power.
