With the government of India now allowing deliveries of non-essential products like smartphones in Orange and Green zones across the country, OEMs like Xiaomi and Realme are ready to launch new devices. Phones like the Mi 10, Realme Narzo 10 series and Vivo V19 launches had to be delayed several times due to the extended lockdowns in the country. Not only do we expect to see new launches, but we will also see phones like the OnePlus 8 series, iPhone SE 2020, and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max going on sale in India for the first time. Realme Narzo 10 and Narzo 10A
Realme Narzo 10 and Narzo 10A launch date has not been revealed yet, but we do know some details about the smartphones. The Narzo 10 will feature a 6.5-inch waterdrop notch display and 48MP quad rear camera setup. The phone is tipped to rock the MediaTek Helio G80 chipset. The Narzo 10 will house a beefy 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The Narzo 10A, on the other hand, will also sport a waterdrop display and a large battery capacity with fast charging support over Type-C; however, it will feature a triple camera setup and a different chipset, details of which are unknown at the moment.
Xiaomi Mi 10
Xiaomi Mi 10 5G India launch date is on May 8th, the company announced on Monday. The Mi 10 a flagship smartphone that touts a 108MP quad camera setup and Snapdragon 865 chipset. The handset has been launched globally with Android 10-based MIUI 11 out of the box. It sports a curved 6.67-inch full HD+ AMOLED display that bears 1,080 × 2,340 pixels resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, a punch-hole cutout to house the selfie camera and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The phone houses a 4,780mAh battery with 30W fast-charging support. Xiaomi has also confirmed that the Mi 10 will come to India with an ad-free MIUI experience.
Vivo V19 India launch has been delayed several times already due to the lockdown, but the company is now likely to announce the phone in the country soon. It’s been launched globally with a 6.44-inch FHD+ Dual iView E3 Super AMOLED display that bears a 20:9 aspect ratio and 409ppi. It’s powered by the 2.3GHz octa-core Snapdragon 712 SoC as opposed to the 2.0GHz Snapdragon 675 chipset powering the Indonesian model. Vivo V19 sports a 48MP quad camera setup, a 32MP dual selfie camera, 4,500mAh battery and 33W fast charging support.
Motorola is also gearing up to launch its flagship offering Motorola Edge+ in India. The phone, which was unveiled globally last month, will be debuting in the country with a 5G Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. The Motorola Edge+ sports a 6.7-inch full HD+ curved OLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, HDR10+, and a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone features a 108MP triple camera setup, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a 5,000mAh battery.
Huawei Y9s has been listed on Amazon India, suggesting its imminent launch in the country. The smartphone will sport a 6.59-inch screen, pop-up selfie camera, and 48MP triple rear cameras and the Kirin 710F chipset. The handset will also come with a 16MP front camera, a 4,000mAh battery with 10W fast-charging support, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a dated Android 9 Pie-based EMUI.

OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro
The newly launched OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro are all set to go on sale in India this month, likely from May 11th. Both OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro tout a punch-hole display, Snapdragon 865 SoC, 5G connectivity, 16MP front cameras, and up to 12GB RAM. The OnePlus 8 Pro is the first smartphone from the company to support fast wireless charging and IP68 water resistance. It also sports a 48MP quad cameras, while the regular OnePlus 8 gets a 48MP triple camera setup.
Redmi Note 9 Pro Max
The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max was launched in March and is yet to go on sale in India. If things go right, the handset may be available for sale in the country soon. The smartphone sports a 64MP quad-camera setup, Snapdragon 720G chipset, 5,020mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It also features a 6.67-inch FHD+ (1080 x 2,400p) punch-hole display, up to 8GB of RAM, 128GB internal storage, 32MP front camera, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Software-wise, the phone runs Android 10-based MIUI 11 out of the box.
iPhone SE 2020
Apple said the new iPhone SE 2020 will be available in India soon. Now that the delivery of non-essential services has been resumed, the handset may go for sale in the country this month. The iPhone SE 2020 is the most affordable iPhone in the current lineup and is priced at Rs 42,500 in India. The handset will be available in Black, White, and PRODUCT(RED) colours. It ships with a 4.7-inch Retina HD display with thick bezels and Touch ID fingerprint sensor. The iPhone SE 2020 is powered by A13 Bionic chipset paired with 3GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. It runs iOS 13 out of the box and supports wireless charging.
Moto Razr 2019
Moto Razr 2019 will be available for sale in India from May 8th onwards. The foldable flip phone comes with a 6.2-inch flexible screen that opens and shut vertically. The Moto Razr 2019 price in India is set at Rs 1,24,999. Moto Razr 2019 specifications also include a secondary 2.7-inch Quick View display on the cover, 16MP primary camera, Snapdragon 710 processor paired with 6GB RAM, Android 9 Pie OS, 2,510mAh battery and 15W TurboPower charging support.
