Xiaomi’s co-founder Lei Jun has dropped the teaser of the transparent version of Mi 10 series, which was recently launched in China. The image shared on Weibo with the caption “Xiaomi Mi 10 Transparent Edition” on Weibo showcased the smartphone with a wallpaper of the phone’s internal at the back. The transparent back edition of the Mi 10 series will be in line with its predecessors Mi 9 Explorer Edition and Mi 8 Explorer Edition. The handset is likely to share the same specifications as the other variants of the Mi 10 series; however, Xiaomi is yet to confirm when it’ll see the light of the day.

For those unaware, the Mi 10 series is Xiaomi’s flagship offering with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC ticking at its core. The lineup consists of Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro – both featuring a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display that bears Full-HD+ resolution (1,080×2,340p), 90Hz refresh rate, and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The panel also sports a punch-hole at the top-left corner for the selfie camera and in-display fingerprint scanner. The phones come with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage option.
While the Mi 10 sports a 4,780mAh battery with 30W wired fast charging support, the Mi 10 Pro houses a 4,500mAh battery with 50W fast charging tech. Both phones come with an impressive 30W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging support. In optics, the Mi 10 series is equipped with 108MP quad rear cameras and 20MP front camera for selfies and video calling. The handsets boot Android 10-based MIUI 11 out of the box and include connectivity option such as 5G SA/NSA, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/ Galileo, and USB Type-C port. The Mi 10 series price in China starts at RMB 3,999 (~Rs 41,000).
