Xiaomi has launched its new Mi 10 Ultra smartphone at the brand’s 10th-anniversary event in China. The handset is the fourth offering in the company’s flagship Mi 10 lineup and tops its siblings in almost every department in terms of specifications. The highlight of Mi 10 Ultra is 120W fast wired charging that is rated to charge a battery as big as 4,500mAh in just about 23 minutes. Additionally, the handset also supports 50W wireless charging and rocks 120Hz refresh rate display, quad rear cameras with up to ultra-zoom, up to 16GB RAM and half-a-terabyte of storage. Mi 10 Ultra price, availability

The Mi 10 Ultra has been priced in China at RMB 5,299 (~Rs 57,000) for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant of the phone costs RMB 5,599 (~Rs 60,000), while the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option is priced at RMB 5,999 (~Rs 64,400). The top-end 16GB RAM option of the Mi 10 Ultra with 512GB storage will set you back to RMB 6,999 (~Rs 75,200). The handset comes in two colour options: Obsidian Black, Mercury Silver, and in a Transparent Edition, which will go on sale from August 16th in the country. There is no word over Mi 10 Ultra launch in India at the moment. 

Separately, Xiaomi also launched 55W wireless charging stand, which will retail at RMB 199 (~Rs 2,100).

Mi 10 Ultra specifications

As for the Mi 10 Ultra specifications, the handset sports a 6.67-inch full-HD+ OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and in-display fingerprint scanner. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, much like its sibling Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. This is paired with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage onboard. Xiaomi claims that the Mi 10 Ultra also houses VC liquid cooling, multi-layer graphite, thermal sensor array, and Graphene for effective temperature management of the phone while playing games.

The smartphone packs a quad camera setup with a downgraded 48MP primary sensor from 108MP, 20MP wide-angle sensor, 12MP portrait sensor, and a telephoto snapper that bears 120x ultra-zoom. Additionally, there are laser auto-focus, flicker sensor, and ability to shoot videos at 8K quality. On the front, the phone gets a 20MP shooter for selfies and video calling.

The Mi 10 Ultra runs MIUI 12 atop Android 10 out of the box to take care of the software side of things and houses a beefy 4,500mAh battery. As stated above, the phone is backed by 120W fast wired and 50W fast wireless charging support. The latter takes just 40 minutes to fully charge the device with a compatible charger. Other features include 10W reverse wireless charging, dual stereo speakers, USB Type-C, and NFC.
