- Mi 11 series India launch has been teased by Xiaomi on Twitter
- However, no launch date has been revealed yet
- The series can be expected to launch in India in April
The Mi 11 India launch has been teased once officially, as Xiaomi tweeted an iamge saying the series is “coming soon.” This confirmation comes two months after the company’s marketing lead first spoke about launching the Mi 11 series in India. To recall, Xiaomi has scheduled a global launch event on March 29th, where it is expected to unveil the Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Lite, and other products. Considering that, the Mi 11 India launch date will likely be in April. Xiaomi hasn’t revealed which phones in series will be launching in the country, though we can expect at least the Lite and the standard models to arrive here. The Mi 11 was originally launched in China last December with the Snapdragon 888 chipset.
Xiaomi Mi 11 will take on the OnePlus 9 in India
The teaser by Xiaomi India confirms that the Mi 11 India launch is indeed happening very soon. The company tweeted the teaser soon after the OnePlus 9 series India launch. The OnePlus 9 series, which includes the OnePlus 9R, OnePlus 9, and OnePlus 9 Pro, comes with a starting price of Rs 39,999. The OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro come with the Snapdragon 888 SoC and Hasselblad cameras. The upcoming Mi 11 series will take on the OnePlus flagships.
The Mi 11 is powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset and offers a 108MP camera. If the company prices the phone aggressively in India, then OnePlus is going to have some tough competition.
