Mi 11 Lite launch could be inching close as the phone has now appeared on the FCC certification platform with the model number M2101K9G. The Mi 11 Lite moniker has also been spotted on the Indian IMEI database, 91mobiles has discovered. The FCC listing also reveals some of the Mi 11 Lite specifications, including support for 5G connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi, LTE, and run MIUI 12 OS out of the box. The phone will be available in three variants: 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB, and 8GB+256GB. While the certification doesn’t key details such as the chipset, display, battery, it’s a good indication to suggest the phone’s launch could be around the corner. This comes after the phone was spotted by PriceBaba earlier today on the IMDA website.
Mi 11 Lite 5G on FCC and Indian IMEI database
Earlier reports have suggested the Mi 11 Lite 4G version would come with Snapdragon 732G, but the 5G variant will get a different chipset. In addition to the FCC listing, the Mi 11 Lite has also appeared on the Indian IMEI website, which not only confirms the moniker but also suggests the phone’s launch in India.
Mi 11 Lite specifications (rumoured)
Mi 11 Lite is said to sport a 120Hz LCD display with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper. It is tipped to pack 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage that may be expandable. The phone is likely to boot Android 11-based MIUI 12 custom skin out of the box. A 4,150mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support is said to fuel the phone. Connectivity features include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, 4G LTE, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync.
Moving to cameras, the Mi 11 Lite is said to have triple cameras at the back with a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP secondary lens and a 5MP third lens. A recent leak suggested the Mi 11 Lite price will be VND 75,00,000-80,00,000 (approx Rs 23,000-25,000). Though it was initially expected to launch alongside Mi 11 globally on February 8th, it didn’t. We should learn about Mi 11 Lite launch date in the coming weeks.
