Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro with in-display fingerprint sensor launched in Taiwan, its first market outside China

“Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro with in-display fingerprint sensor has finally stepped out of China with the Taiwan launch”

Xiaomi has pulled the wraps off the Mi 8 Pro in Taiwan, the first country it has been unveiled in outside China. The smartphone was earlier launched in Xiaomi’s home market with the Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint Edition moniker. As the name would suggest, the device offers an on-screen fingerprint sensor as its highlight, alongside infrared based face unlock. This launch comes soon after the Mi 8 Litelaunched alongside the Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint Edition in China – was launched in Ukraine as its first global market.

Dual GPS is yet another mention worthy feature. This particular module is designed to minimise the interference and improve the overall GPS connectivity.
