Xiaomi Mi Band 4 fitness band received a new update earlier this month that added the ability to adjust auto-screen off timeout. Now, the brand has said to have pushed a new update to the Mi Fit app which brings custom vibration feedback to find the lost device and controls to adjust the auto-screen timeout feature. This means one can customise the screen timeout directly from the app, according to Gizmochina report. Furthermore, the update also adds support for “Jiangsu Card Nantong on Mi Band 3 NFC, Mi Band 4 NFC, and Amazfit Cor 2.” The update as just started rolling out and can be downloaded from the Google Play store.
Mi Band 4 specifications
To recall, the Mi Band 4 was launched in India back in September with a price tag of Rs 2,299. It packs a new 0.95-inch 24-bit AMOLED colour touch display with 240 x 120 pixels resolution, 400 nits brightness and 2.5D curved glass. The band comes with 5 ATM rating for water-resistance, and it connects to smartphones via Bluetooth 5.0. The Mi Band 4 can display step counter, sleep monitor, heart rate sensor, activity tracker and more. There is a 135mAh Li-ion polymer battery that is claimed to last up to 20 days.
Mi Band 4 users can also customise the watch face depending on their liking. It can detect different activities such as treadmill, running, jogging, cycling, and more. The Mi Band 4 is equipped with a six-axis sensor, that can detect various swimming activities such as Freestyle, Backstroke, Butterfly stroke, and Medley. Sensors onboard include Tri-axis Accelerometer + Tri-axis Gyro, Capacitive Wear Monitoring. It has support for features like DND, app alerts, ability to control phone’s music, stopwatch, find the device, timer and more.
