“The Mi MIX 4 is tipped to launch on September 24th as the world’s first smartphone with 108MP camera”
The Mi MIX 4 smartphone, Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship, seems to have been leaked yet again. This time alleged live image of the Mi MIX 4 has surfaced online, and it appears to be similar to the tempered glass that was leaked a few days ago. The handset will reportedly sport an edge-to-edge display with no bezel or notch whatsoever. The live image doesn’t reveal the chin of the phone, but it’s expected to be relatively thicker. The phone is likely to follow the design of Mi MIX 2S and flaunt a ceramic body (at least on a few variants). The content from the screen reveals the phone will have 4G VoLTE support.
Based on the previous leaks and rumours, the Mi MIX 4 will feature a curved screen with 90Hz refresh rate and 2K resolution. The flagship offering is expected to employ Snapdragon 855 Plus mobile platform, paired with up to 12GB RAM + 1TB storage, at its core. In addition to this, the Mi MIX 4 is going to be the world’s first smartphone with Samsung ISOCELL HMX sensor, which has a staggering 108-megapixel resolution. Xiaomi may also introduce the phone with 5G connectivity and 4,500mAh battery – backed by 30W fast wireless charging.
In related news, Xiaomi has filed trademarks for its smartwatch and a couple of new smartphones in MIX series. The handsets are named Xiaomi MIX Alpha and Xiaomi MIX A, while the smartwatch will be simply called Xiaomi Watch. There are no other details available about the devices at the moment, but we expect to learn more as they near to the launch date. So keep watching this space.
