Xiaomi is working on a new pair of neckband-style wireless earphones that could launch soon. 91mobiles has discovered the Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphones Pro on the Bluetooth SIG certification website, suggesting their imminent launch. Going by the moniker, it seems the Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphones Pro will succeed the Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphones that were launched in India last year at Rs 1,599. The Bluetooth certification site reveals a few key features about the Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphones Pro as well.

According to the Bluetooth certification site, the Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphones Pro are listed as truly wireless earphones (TWS) with support for Bluetooth 5.0. The headphones support SBC and AAC audio codecs and they are also IPX4 rated for splash resistance. Beyond this, not much else is known about the Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphones Pro at the moment.

Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphones Pro do not have a launch date yet, but Xiaomi could release it soon now that it has received the Bluetooth certification. Interestingly, Mi Active Noise Cancelling Wireless Earphones are also seen on the same certification page, but the pair were certified back in July. The earphones seem to offer the same feature-set as the Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphones Pro, so they could be similar.

To recall, the Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphones that were launched in India last year offer up to eight hours of battery life on a single charge. The headphones also come with tri-band equalisation and dynamic bass. Priced at Rs 1,499, the Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphones come with Bluetooth 5.0, and support for HFP, A2DP, HSP, and AVRP protocols. The earphones come with a micro-arc collar design and support voice command as well. The upcoming Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphones Pro could offer similar features.
