- Xiaomi Mi Soundbar 2 has model number MDZ-35-DA and Bluetooth 4.0 for connectivity
- Mi Treadmill has a foldable design, Bluetooth 4.2, and MJPBJ01KST model number
Mi Soundbar 2.0 and Mi Treadmill have received Bluetooth SIG certifications. The listing reveals the former has the product name “2.1 Soundbar” and model number MDZ-35-DA. This is similar to the Redmi Soundbar 2.0 that received a separate certification back in March. There is a possibility that both products could be closely related. Surprisingly, the soundbar ships with Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, instead of the more advanced Bluetooth 5.0 wireless tech. The products should launch in China first and then gradually move to other markets, including India.
Apart from Mi Soundbar 2.0, the Bluetooth SIG also certified the Mi Treadmill that has model number MJPBJ01KST. The description reads that it has a foldable design and should connect via Bluetooth 4.2. It could connect to a smartphone and sync the exercise sessions to Mi Fit app. Unfortunately, not much else is known about the Mi Treadmill or the Mi Soundbar 2 at the moment, but since they bagged the certifications, the launch could be right around the corner.
Separately, the Xiaomi’s standalone brand Redmi is tipped to be working on a tablet, dubbed as the Redmi Pad 5G. It is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC, boot MIUI for Pad system, have 90Hz refresh rate, and 30W wired fast-charging. The tablet will have a 48MP primary camera and ultra-linear speakers. As the name suggests, it will have 5G connectivity and will start at RMB 1,999 (around Rs 21,700) for the base model. We should know more information soon.
