Mi True Wireless Earphones Lite may launch soon, receive Bluetooth certification

“As the name suggests, these could be a more affordable version of the Mi True Wireless Earphones”

After launching Mi AirDots Bluetooth earphones, Mi AirDots Youth Edition, Mi True Wireless Earphones, Xiaomi seems to be gearing up to launch another true wireless earphones, called Mi True Wireless Earphones Lite. These upcoming Xiaomi TWS earphones were spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification site this week with model number TWSEJ03WM. The website doesn’t reveal much about the Mi True Wireless Earphones Lite in terms of specs and design, but it does confirm that the TWS earphones will support Bluetooth 5.0. As the name suggests, these could be a more affordable version of the Mi True Wireless Earphones.

Mi True Wireless Earphones Lite could be a lite version of the Mi Air2.

To recall, the Mi True Wireless Earphones were launched back in July 2019. These connect via Bluetooth 4.2 and are equipped with AAC HD advanced audio codec. These have touch controls for music playback and voice assistant support. The Mi True wireless earphones rock a 7nm neodymium iron boron magnetic + titanium-plated diaphragm dynamic ring speaker unit and tri-band balance. There is support for automatic music playback when either of the earpieces is removed from the ear and goes into sleep mode after 30 minutes of operation. Xiaomi claims these last three hours on a single charge and an additional 10 hours with the charging case.

Notably, Xiaomi is yet to launch its true wireless earphones in India. While the company has brought products like Mi Earphones Basic, Mi Soundbar and Mi Wireless Headphones, we are yet to see the Mi AirDots or Mi True Wireless Earphones in the country. Seeing as how Realme has launched the Realme Buds Air in India, it seems highly likely that Xiaomi will finally bring its own TWS earphones to India, and the Mi True Wireless Earphones Lite could be the ones.
