Xiaomi has officially teased the launch of its smartwatch in India, keeping in line with our exclusive report last month. The company is holding a “Smarter Living” event on September 29th and the Mi Band 5 is already confirmed to be one of the many IoT products that will be announced on the day. A new tweet now teases the arrival of the Mi Watch Revolve smartwatch, although there is a possibility that the name could be changed to Mi Watch SE going by the tweet. This will be the first smartwatch from the brand in India and will look to take on the likes of the Realme Watch in the country.

The Mi Watch Revolve or Mi Watch SE, depending on what the company calls it, is expected to be a rebranded Mi Watch Color that is currently on sale in China. The smartwatch comes with a circular dial and a 1.39-inch 454×454 AMOLED display. The Mi Watch Color features a heart-rate monitor, sleep tracker, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, 5 ATM, and a 420mAh battery that is rated to last up to 14 days on a single charge. Mi Watch Color price in China is set at RMB 599 (approx Rs 6,400) and we expect the India price to be along the same lines.
Xiaomi will also be launching the Mi Band 5, which will succeed the highly popular Mi Band 4 in India. The Mi Band 5 sports a 1.1-inch touch AMOLED display and offers a 14-day battery backup. The fitness tracker can actively track heart rate and comes with 11 different sports modes. The Mi Band 5 is water-resistant up to 50 meters and comes with a price tag of RMB 189 (approx Rs 2,000) in China.
