Micromax IN Note 1 to get Android 11 update soon

Furthermore, talking about the Micromax In Note 1 Android 11 update, Rahul Sharma said the updated is being worked on currently and it should roll out sometime in April. A recent update to the phone has added EIS and RAW mode to the camera, portrait mode has been improved for the selfie camera and included January security patch. Additionally, In 1B will be getting a new update later this month with the camera and speaker improvements, slow-motion video recording, security and overall improvements. When asked whether Micromax would introduce its own custom skin much like other OEMs, Rahul said the company has no such plan since it wants the experience to close to stock. The executive also mentioned that Micromax will never put ads in its phones to generate revenue.

Separately, back in December, a new Micromax phone with the model number E7748 received the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification. Considering the Micromax In Note 1 has the model number E7746, the Micromax E7748 could come as its successor. This falls in-line with Micromax’s co-founder Rahul Sharma’s confirmation regarding a new phone that is in the works. We can speculate that the E7748 model could be the upcoming Micromax 5G mobile phone.
