“The Bharat 1’s 2018 variant will come with a new design and support for 22 regional languages”
Last October, Micromax launched the Bharat 1 (review), its first 4G feature phone with VoLTE (voice over LTE) connectivity option. Now the company is gearing up to launch the 2018 variant of the Micromax Bharat 1. From a source in the retail chain, 91mobiles has obtained an image of the Micromax Bharat 1 (2018), which will be launched soon.
While our source is yet to confirm the price of the Micromax Bharat 1 (2018), the phone is expected to retail under Rs 2,000. As for the specs, the device will come with support for 22 regional languages. The 4G and VoLTE-enabled offering will also offer a Live TV feature. The handset will also come with an LED torch light, a selfie camera and a colour display. A large speaker is also visible at the rear, and hopefully, the phone should offer rich sound output. The bright red hue of the device in the image looks nice too, and possibly, there could be other colours on offer as well.
Micromax launched the Bharat 1 in collaboration with state-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL). The manufacturer could also consider a similar partnership for the Bharat 1 (2018). We will have more details about the phone’s features and availability soon, so stay tuned.
