Micromax Bharat 5 Infinity Edition and Bharat 4 Diwali Edition with Android Go launched

Micromax has expanded its budget smartphone lineup with the launch of Bharat 5 Infinity Edition and Bharat 4 Diwali Edition in India today. The handsets are introduced in conjunction with the upcoming festive season. Both the devices run Android Go (Oreo) out of the box that should work fine with the offered specifications. The Bharat 5 Infinity Edition goes for sale starting today, while the Bharat 4 Infinity Edition will be available from November 3rd across the country.

Micromax Bharat 4 Diwali Edition

Coming to the specifications, Micromax packs the Bharat 5 Infinity Edition with a full vision 18:9 aspect ratio and a beefy 5,000mAh battery. Sadly, the company hasn’t disclosed the size and resolution of the screen in the press release. The phone’s chipset is also unknown at the moment, but what we do know is that it is backed by 1GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 32GB by adding a microSD card. In optics, the handset features a 5-megapixel sensor both on the front as well as back; however, the rear one is backed by LED flash. For security, the Bharat 5 Infinity Edition employs a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock feature. The handset also has a Dual 4G VoLTE SIM slots.

Its sibling, the Micromax Bharat 4 Diwali Edition, on the other hand, comes with a 5-inch display and a 2,000mAh battery. The chipset and screen resolution details are not known at the moment. The dual-SIM phone employs a gigabyte of RAM and 8GB onboard storage, which is again expandable up to 32GB via a dedicated microSD card slot. Camera-wise, the device sports a 5-megapixel on the rear with LED flash and a 2-megapixel shooter on the front for selfies and video calling. 

The India price of the Micromax Bharat 5 Infinity Edition has been set at Rs 5,899, while the Micromax Bharat 4 Diwali Edition will set you back to Rs 4,249. Both devices will be available for sale on bricks and mortar stores. As part of the launch offer, Micromax has partnered with Jio to give 25GB of additional data to all subscribers. Customer will get 5GB additional data benefits on a recharge of Rs 198/Rs 299 for a maximum of 5
recharges. The offer is applicable on Micromax GO Devices and Micromax Bharat 5.
