In December last year, Micromax announced its selfie-centric smartphone, the Canvas Selfie A255. Now the brand has launched the smartphone in India carrying a price tag Rs 15,999, and will be available in the major brick-and-mortar stores across the country starting today. The Canvas Selfie comes with 13MP front-facing and rear cameras flaunting Sony sensors.
The primary shooter is accompanied by dual-LED flash, while the secondary snapper on the other hand is aided by a soft-LED flash. The camera app of the phone is loaded with a handful of selfie-enhancement features like Eye Enhancement, Remove Oil, Fade Dark Circles, Face Slimming, Teeth Whitening, Make-up, Skin Smoothening, etc.
As far as other specs are concerned, the Micromax Canvas Selfie offers a 4.7-inch HD IPS display with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat, and is backed by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM and a 2,300mAh battery. The device offers 16GB of expandable storage, dual-SIM slots, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
The Canvas Selfie will be available in Mystic Blue and Angelic White variants with a leather-like back panel. The device will enthuse the selfie lovers with its powerful camera at the front, and it’s also loaded in other aspects well.
