
The Microsoft Surface Pro and Surface Laptops have been refreshed with the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors, bringing enhanced performance and capabilities. For the first time, the Business Edition laptops will feature 5G connectivity to deliver better flexibility for professionals on the go. Microsoft Surface Pro, Surface laptop: price, availability
The Microsoft Surface Pro is priced starting at $1,499.99 (approximately Rs 1,30,000), while the Surface Laptop also starts at $1,499.99. Both devices will be available for purchase from select retailers from February 18th.

- Design: The Surface Pro has dimensions of 287 x 209 x 9.3mm and weighs 872g, making it sleek and portable. In comparison, the Surface Laptop’s 13.8-inch model is slightly larger, measuring 301 x 225 x 17.5mm and weighing 1.35kg.
- Display: The Surface Pro features a 13-inch PixelSense Flow display with a resolution of 2880 × 1920 pixels. It offers both LCD and OLED options, supports a dynamic refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and can reach a peak brightness of 900 nits. The display is also Dolby Vision IQ certified and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
- The Surface Laptop comes in two display sizes: a 13.8-inch screen with a resolution of 2304 × 1536 pixels and a 15-inch display with a resolution of 2496 × 1664 pixels.
- Processor: Both the Surface Pro and Surface Laptop are powered by the Intel Core Ultra 7 268V processor. The business edition also offers an option for the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite chip.
- RAM & storage: Both devices come with up to 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM and offer up to 1TB of Gen 4 SSD storage.
- Camera: The Surface Pro is equipped with a 1440p Quad HD front-facing camera and a 10MP ultra HD rear-facing camera. The Surface Laptop features the same camera specifications.
- Battery Life: The brand claims the Surface Pro offers up to 14 hours of video playback on a single charge, while the Surface Laptop can last up to 20 hours.
- Connectivity: The laptops come with two USB Type-C ports with Thunderbolt 4, a Surface Connect port, and a Surface Pro Keyboard port. They also support Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 7, and 5G connectivity (for the business edition).
- Others: The laptops come with enterprise-grade security, including a TPM 2.0 chip, BitLocker support, Microsoft Pluton technology, and NFC authentication. They also feature a dedicated NPU that enables local AI processing and enhances Copilot+ PC experiences.
