Xiaomi is holding its global launch event on January 26th 2022, where it is expected to introduce the Redmi Note 11 series as well as the MIUI 13 global version. Now, ahead of the official rollout, the company has started pushing the latest version of the MIUI to some of its models, including the Mi 11 Lite and the Redmi Note 10 series. MIUI 13 was originally unveiled back in December in China. The new custom skin doesn’t bring any significant improvements over the MIUI 12.5 enhanced version but is claimed to offer a 52 percent improvement in overall fluidity. It focuses on optimising computing capabilities for core apps during heavy load. For the first time, Xiaomi is breaking the custom skin into multiple categories: MIUI 13, MIUI 13 Pad, and MIUI 13 Fold. This means the OS is optimised for smartphones, tablets, and foldables.
