“The Moto E6 Plus is expected to be the most premium smartphone in the company’s unannounced Moto E6 lineup”

Motorola has an event scheduled for June 20th where it’s likely to launch the Motorola One Vision smartphone in India. Ahead of that, the Moto E6 Plus smartphone has been spotted on the benchmarking site Geekbench. The handset is likely to be the most premium smartphone in the brand’s upcoming entry-level Moto E6 series.

As per the listing, first spotted by Nashville Chatter, the Moto E6 Plus will come with MT6762V (Helio P22) chipset, paired with 2GB of RAM. The Android 9 Pie is said to take care of the software side of things. The modest handset scored 829 points in the single-core test, while in the multi-core it nailed 3,687 points. Since this is the very first time we’re hearing about the Moto E6 Plus, there’s no other information available at the moment.

However, it’s expected to come with slightly better specs compared to the standard Moto E6 smartphone. The latter’s render was leaked last month, and it showed the phone with 18:9 aspect ratio display and single rear camera, but no fingerprint sensor. The handset is rumoured to sport a 5.45-inch HD+ display, a 13-megapixel sensor at the back, and a 5-megapixel shooter on the front for selfies and video calling. It may be driven by Snapdragon 450 SoC.

Motorola usually announces its E series in the early part of the year, but there seems to be a change in strategy for the product line in 2019. The company hasn’t launched the handsets yet and chances of it happening anytime soon look bleak. We’ll bring update as soon as there is something on Moto E6 series launch, so stay tuned!
