Update: A Flipkart landing page has confirmed that the Moto G13 will indeed launch in India on March 29th. The smartphone will be exclusively sold on the e-commerce platform following its launch. The phone’s official price and sale date will be announced at 12 pm on March 29th.

A recent report from 91mobiles Hindi suggested the Moto G13 will launch in the country as early as next week as a budget offering. Reiterating the same, noted tipster Mukul Sharma tweeted that the new Moto G-series phone will debut in the country on March 29th. Like other phones from the brand, the Moto G13 will be available via Flipkart but we can speculate the handset will also be available through offline stores. The Moto G13 ships with a 6.5-inch display, a 5,000mAh battery, and Android 13 OS.

Moto G13 price in India (expected)

Moto G13’s price in India is expected to be under Rs 12,000, going by recent reports. We should know the exact details when the phone debuts later this month.

Moto G13 specifications

Since the phone already launched globally, we know its specifications. The Moto G13 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC paired with Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. Running the show is Android 13 OS out of the box, which is a good thing considering we’re talking about a budget offering. There is a 5,000mAh battery with 10W standard charging support.

The Moto G13 flaunts a 6.5-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel with a 90Hz high refresh rate, 1600 X 720 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 576Hz touch sampling rate, 89.47 percent screen-to-body ratio, and Panda Glass protection. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Aiding the chipset is 4GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB internal storage, which is further expandable via a microSD card.

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC. As for the cameras, the Moto G13 has a 50MP primary camera with LED flash, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro unit. There is an 8MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.
