“The Moto G5 Plus sports a premium all-metal design, water repellent coating and a Snapdragon 625 SoC”
At MWC in Barcelona, Lenovo introduced the latest Moto G series smartphones – the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus. Today, the company has launched the Moto G5 Plus in India. The brand is also expected to launch the Moto G5 in the country soon, but there’s no word regarding its exact availability date at the moment.
Coming to the Moto G5 Plus (first impressions), the phone flaunts an all-metal design, a fingerprint sensor integrated into its home button, Android Nougat and a water repellent coating. The phone features a 5.2-inch full HD display with a layer of Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 on top. The performance is handled by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, coupled with 3GB or 4GB of RAM depending upon the model you go for.
The Moto G5 Plus comes in two storage variants – 16GB and 32GB – both of which support microSD card expansion as well. The camera department includes a 12MP rear shooter with dual autofocus pixels and a 5MP front snapper. A 3,000mAh battery sits under the hood to run the show, which supports TurboPower fast charging.
The 3GB / 16GB variant of the Moto G5 Plus has been priced at Rs 14,999 in India. The 4GB / 32GB model, on the other hand, will set you back by Rs 16,999. The phone will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting midnight tonight. The launch offers include a 10 percent discount on SBI credit and debit cards, no cost EMI on all credit cards and Bajaj FinServe, and the Moto Pulse headset at a discounted rate of Rs 599 (Rs 1,299 regular price).
