Moto G51 has been launched in China and is the first to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ that was unveiled recently alongside other mid-range chipsets. It is the successor to the Moto G50 that interestingly ships with the standard Snapdragon 480 chipset. The Plus variant offers faster-clocking speed and a higher fresh rate. It has a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout, a triple camera setup on the back and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor that is embedded in the power button. Key specifications include a 120Hz display, a 50MP triple camera setup, and a 5,000mAh battery.

Moto G51 price

The Moto G51 is priced at RMB 1,499 (approx Rs 17,500). No details regarding its India launch have been revealed at the moment but we can expect it to find its way to the country sometime soon.

Moto G51 sports a 6.8-inch IPS LCD HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate and a punch-hole cutout. It runs on Android 11-based My UI 2.0 custom skin out of the box but has a near-stock Android experience. There is a triple camera setup, with a 50MP triple camera setup, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. It offers features like night vision, dual-view recording, spot colour photography and more. It has a 13MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. It packs 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage but has 3GB virtual RAM.

There is a 5,000mAh battery but there’s no information regarding its fast-charging capabilities. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ SoC paired with Adreno 619 GPU for graphics during gaming sessions.
