Motorola has slashed the Moto G6 price in India by Rs 2,000 for the two variants of the smartphone, 91mobiles has learnt from retail chain sources. The new prices are applicable in offline stores at the moment. The Moto G6 was launched in June this year in the Indian market and is available both online and offline.

The Moto G6 price in India for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant is Rs 11,999 now, down from the launch price of Rs 13,999. Similarly, the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage option now costs Rs 13,999 instead of Rs 15,999. As mentioned above, these prices are already effective in offline stores. However, Amazon India — the exclusive online retailer of the handset in the country — still sells the two devices at the launch prices of Rs 13,999 and Rs 15,999, respectively.
Moto G6 specifications
Moto G6 sports a 5.7-inch IPS LCD display with full-HD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. It runs stock Android Oreo software but is slated to receive the Android Pie update. As for the performance, the handset is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 450 processor accompanied by Adreno 506 graphics processing unit. The smartphone supports microSD cards of up to 128GB capacities.
For imaging, there is a 12MP + 5MP setup on the rear panel and a 16MP selfie shooter, both accompanied by a LED flash. These handsets come with Motorola’s Smart Camera, which can recognise faces, scenes and even text. It is powered by a 3,000mAh battery with TurboPower charging support. There is a fingerprint scanner on the front for security. Motorola is offering the device in four hues – Sterling Blue, Indigo Blue, Fine Gold, and Silver.
