“The Moto G7 Plus is a mid-range smartphone with a Snapdragon 636 processor and a 6.24-inch FHD+ display”
Motorola has started rolling out the latest Android 10 software update for the Moto G7 Plus. The company hasn’t been particularly punctual with providing updates for its devices but seems like it’s trying to be better. Earlier this month, the Moto One Vision received this update, and it was also rolled out for the Moto One Power in December last year. Now, it’s time for the Moto G7 Plus to receive the goodness of Android 10. As of now, the update is being rolled out to owners in Brazil. It should also be available for users in North America and Europe in the coming months.
South America is one of the most important markets for Motorola, and it usually launches the G series first in this region. The Moto G7 Plus is a mid-range smartphone and sells very well in this area. The phone was released early last year and it came with Android 9.0 Pie onboard. Since it is part of the Android One program, the latest Android 10 update was inevitable. The latest update also installs the December 2019 Android security patch on the smartphone. It includes bug fixes, several improvements, and all the Android 10 features.
Moto G7 Plus users in Brazil can check for the update by heading over to Settings > Software Update. If the update is available, then we recommend immediately installing it on the device. The Android 10 update will bring a system wide Dark Mode to the phone, along with other features such as Live Caption, gesture navigation, improved security, several new emojis, direct audio to hearing aids, and more.
As mentioned earlier, the Moto G7 Plus is a mid-range smartphone with a 6.2-inch Full HD+ display, a tear-drop notch, and a front facing 12-megapixel camera. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 636 processor, which is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. The G7 Plus features a dual-rear camera setup, which includes a primary 16-megapixel unit paired with a 5-megapixel depth sensor. There’s a 3,000mAh battery with support for 27W TurboPower fast charging.
