“The Moto G7 Plus will reportedly feature waterdrop notch atop the display and camera hump on the back panel”
The next-gen of Moto G-series smartphones are expected to launch shortly. Allegedly dubbed as the Moto G7, the handset has been the subject of a number of leaks so far. Most recently, the phone’s render was leaked online revealing the design and the Waterdrop notch display. Now, a new image with a slightly bigger display has surfaced on the interwebs, and rumours are that this could be the Plus model of the Moto G7-family.
According to the image, there isn’t any notable difference between the Moto G7 Plus and its regular variant. The handset seems to flaunt the same Waterdrop style notch atop the display and horizontally-aligned dual cameras placed on the camera hump at the rear panel. It also reveals a fingerprint sensor clad ‘Moto’ logo on the back panel and ‘Motorola’ branding up front on the chin.
Motorola has customarily been launching ‘Plus’ model along with the regular one with its G-series smartphones over the past few years. The brand likely to continue the same with its G7 phones as well. The Moto G7 and G7 Plus are expected to land in the market, and much like its predecessor – the Moto G6 (review) and G6 Plus (first impression) – they are going to differ based on display size and chipset.
The Moto G7 Plus is expected to sport a 6.4-inch display, while the Moto G6 is likely to flaunt a 6-inch panel. According to previous reports, the regular Moto G6 is tipped to rock Snapdragon 660 paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Now, to be more powerful, the Moto G7 Plus is expected to ship either with Snapdragon 670 SoC or Snapdragon 710 SoC. We expect to know more about the G7 Plus along with its launch date and availability in the coming days, so stay tuned.
