Motorola is on a launching spree as the brand has recently introduced the Moto G32, Moto G42, and Moto G62 5G, and this will be the fourth Moto G lineup handset. Moto G72 carries an XT2255 model number on these listings, which reveals its battery capacity and charging details.

Moto G72 has appeared on the FCC, TDRA, and IMEI databases with model number XT2255-1, while the BIS listing reveals an XT2255-2 model number. All these listings of the Moto G72 also suggest we might soon witness a launch event for the same. Let’s look at what we can expect from this upcoming Moto G72 smartphone.

According to the FCC listing, the battery of this next Moto G series smartphone will have a model number of NE50. The Motorola NE50’s TUV certification confirms that the Moto G72 will use a 5,000mAh battery pack, and the battery’s rated capacity is 4,700mAh.

Meanwhile, the charging adapter will have the model numbers MC-331, MC-332, MC-333, MC-334, and MC-336. According to the DEMKO certification for these chargers, the Moto G73 might support 33W fast charging, as documents reveal 15W (5V/3A), 27W (9V/3A), 30W (12V/2.5A), and 33W (11V/3A) power output support.
