Moto G53 and Moto G73 have been launched officially as the latest mid-range offerings from Motorola. The phones are meant for global markets but we believe they might make their way to the Indian market shortly. The phones come with a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter, dual-camera sensors on the back placed in a square-module, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The Moto G73 is priced at EUR 300 (approx Rs 26,700) for the single 8GB + 256GB model and comes in Lucent White and Midnight Blue colours.

The Moto G53 5G is priced at EUR 250 (around Rs 22,300) for the 4GB + 128GB version.

Moto G73 specifications

The Moto G73 sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1080 X 2400 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 90 percent screen-to-body ratio, and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 930 SoC paired with IMG BXM-8-256 GPU for graphics, 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage that is further expandable. The handset runs on Android 13 OS out of the box.

Moving to cameras, the Moto G73 packs dual cameras on the back, with a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 118-degree FoV. The secondary lens also has support for portrait shots and a macro option. There is a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.

The phone is equipped with stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, and an IP52 rating for splash resistance. Connectivity features include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC. There is a 5,000mAh battery with 30W Turbo charging support.

The Moto G53 5G comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1600 x 720 pixels resolution, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 89.47 percent screen-to-body ratio, and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper. Powering the phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ SoC paired with Adreno 619 GPU, 4GB RAM, and 128GB storage that is further expandable via a microSD card. The handset boots Android 13 OS out of the box.
