Motorola seems to be working on expanding its G-series lineup now that it has launched the new Edge and Razr-branded models. We have spotted two new Motorola phones, possibly the Moto G86 and Moto G56, at the FCC and NCC platforms, suggesting that the announcement could be around the corner. These could be competitive options in the budget and mid-range markets. Here’s what we know for now.

Moto G86 5G FCC details

  • A new Motorola phone with the model number XT2527-1 has received the FCC certification, as spotted by 91mobiles.

While that’s everything from the FCC, UL Solutions and TUV Rheinland, the recently leaked renders of the Moto G86 revealed the entire design and colour options. We had exclusively reported that the phone is expected to cost EUR 330 (~Rs 31,700) for the 8GB + 256GB configuration. The handset could be available in Golden, Cosmic, Red, and Spellbound colours.

Moto G56 NCC details

  • Besides the possible Moto G86, another Motorola phone with the model number XT2529-2 has been spotted on the Taiwan-based NCC certification platform. This is said to be the Moto G56.
  • The listing includes the images of the phone, which show it in green and blue colour shades.
  • The handset features triple cutouts on the back, along with an LED flash.
  • The phone has a flat frame with rounded edges. The volume rocker and power button are present on the right edge.
  • There is a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter.
  • The USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, and speaker vents are at the bottom.
  • The listing also includes the image of the charger, which shows 33W max charging support.
  • The image of the battery confirms a 5,100mAh rated battery capacity.

The Motorola G56 specifications were leaked recently. It is said to come with a 6.72-inch FHD+ display, MediaTek Dimensity 7060 chipset, 50MP Sony main camera, a 32MP front camera, and an IP69 rating for water and dust resistance.
