Moto G9 has been launched in India and it succeeds the Moto G8 from earlier this year. The smartphone comes with a sub-Rs 15,000 price point to take on the likes of the Realme Narzo 10 and Redmi Note 9. The Moto G9 sports a waterdrop display at the front and a 48MP triple camera setup at the back. The Motorola device is also India’s first phone to ship with the Snapdragon 662 chipset. Moto G9 price in India is set at Rs 11,499 for the single variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The first sale of the smartphone will be on August 31st at 12 PM on Flipkart.

Moto G9 flaunts a 6.5-inch HD+ Max Vision display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera, and an 87 percent screen-to-body ratio. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 662 SoC coupled with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB storage that is further expandable up to 512GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 10 OS with clean stock skin on top. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and USB Type-C for charging and data sync
As for the optics, the Moto G9 packs triple cameras at the back with a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots. There is an 8MP snapper on the front for video chats and selfies. It has a physical fingerprint sensor embedded in the Moto dimple and a 5,000mAh battery with 20W TurboPower charging support. It measures 165.21 x 75.73 x 9.18mm and is water repellent.
