Moto Razr 2019 launched with 6.2-inch foldable screen: price in India, specifications, sale date

“The Moto Razr 2019 will go on sale on Flipkart touting specifications such as the Snapdragon 710 SoC and a clamshell design”

Moto Razr 2019 has finally been launched in India and it is the company’s first-ever foldable smartphone. The handset was originally introduced back in November 2019. The Moto Razr 2019 is the modern incarnation of the iconic Razr V3 flip phone from 2004. It highlights a 6.2-inch foldable screen that opens and shut vertically to give it a compact, flip phone form factor. The smartphone comes with a new hinge mechanism as well, which unlike the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, supposedly prevents a crease on the display. The company has now revealed the Moto Razr 2019 price in India and Flipkart sale date. We recently went hands-on with the smartphone, and you can read our first impressions right here.

Moto Razr 2019 price in India, sale date and launch offers

Moto Razr 2019 specifications

The Moto Razr 2019 specifications include a 6.2-inch Flex View pOLED display that bears HD (876 x 2,142 pixels) resolution, 21:9 aspect ratio, and a wide notch. The phone’s secondary 2.7-inch Quick View display on the cover has a 600 × 800 pixels resolution and 4:3 aspect ratio. It can also act as a scroll pad for the larger display and viewfinder for taking selfies using the primary 16MP camera with f/1.7 aperture, EIS, Dual Pixel and laser autofocus, and dual-LED flash. The front camera of the phone gets a 5MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture and Screen Flash for selfies and video calling.

The Moto Razr 2019 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC rather than a flagship processor. This is paired with 6GB RAM + 128GB non-expandable storage onboard. The handset boots Android 9 Pie out of the box, which has been tweaked a little to suit the foldable nature of the smartphone, including app continuity. The handset houses a mediocre 2,510mAh battery with 15W TurboPower charging support and sports eSIM, USB-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and more as connectivity options. Other highlights include a fingerprint scanner, splash-proof nano-coating, and Razr earbuds, which are USB-C headsets tuned by Denon Audio with advanced DSP.
