Motorola, a Lenovo owned company, is all set to launch Moto Tab G62 in India on August 17. The tablet joins the Moto Tab G70 and Moto Tab G70 LTE in Motorola’s portfolio, which launched earlier this year. Launch details and key specifications of the Moto Tab G62 have been revealed by Motorola via its Twitter post and a Moto Tab G62 microsite is now live on Flipkart.
The Moto Tab G62 will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC and a 7,700mAh battery with 20W rapid-charging support.
Moto Tab G62 price in India, specifications
The upcoming Moto Tab G62 is expected to be priced around Rs 20,000 in India and will sport a 10.6-inch LCD display with 2K resolution. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC which has the Adreno 610 GPU coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage. The storage is extendable up to 1TB via microSD. The tablet will further boot Android 12 out of the box and pack a 7,700mAh battery with 20W fast charging support.
As far as the optics are concerned, the Moto Tab G62 will have an 8MP single rear camera and an 8MP single front camera to take care of selfie needs. Connectivity options will include 4G LTE, Dual Band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), a 3.5mm audio jack, GPS and Bluetooth 5.0. It will have a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos.
The upcoming tablet will also feature some standout experiences like a special reading mode to be easy on the user’s eyes and TUV Certifications for eye protection. The tablet will come in two variants: Wi-Fi only and LTE.
