“The Moto X+1 will offer more customisation for the rear panel, including four new leather options” One of the Moto X‘s stand-out features is the level of customisation it offers. It looks like the Moto X+1 is set to follow the same trend, if a tweet from the notorious tipster @evleaks is to be believed. @evleaks was also the first to unveil the new smartphone’s branding last week.
According to @evleaks, the Moto X+1 will reportedly offer 25 back panels. It will be available in multiple colours, including a few leather and wood options. This will be the first time Moto Maker will offer leather back panels. Here are the various back plates on offer: Neutral: Slate, Purple, Smoke, Black and Chalk Cool: Dark Teal, Navy, Olive, Turquoise and Royal Blue Warm: Red, Orange, Lemon Lime, Violet, Crimson, Raspberry and Cabernet Wood: Teak, Bamboo, Rosewood and Ebony Leather: Black, Red, Grey and Blue
Motorola is planning to expand the reach of Moto Maker to other markets outside the US. Hopefully, the customisation options will arrive along with the Moto X+1 when it comes to India. The Moto X was recently launched in India in White, Red, Royal Blue and Turquoise colours, plus Walnut and Teak wooden back panels. However, unlike the Moto G, the Moto X doesn’t offer swappable back panels, since it sports a sealed unibody design. Related Read: Moto X Review
