Motorola rolls out the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update for Moto X, G and E smartphones

Right after Google released the factory images for the latest Android 4.4.3 KitKat update, Motorola has also released it for three of its latest devices. The Moto X, Moto G and Moto E are getting the latest OS update as you read this. At the moment, the update is currently available for Moto X T-Mobile users, the Moto G users who bought their phones online in the US and from retail stores in Brazil, and also for the Moto E units bought online in the US. The update is rolling out over the air, so make sure you have the automatic update option enabled on your devices.


The latest update features a refreshed dialer interface with new colours. It comes with new framework, security fixes and enhancements to the power profile capabilities. The update offers improved image quality for the Moto X including better exposure, realistic flash and better quality images using the front camera in low-light conditions. The Moto X and Moto G are also getting a new pause button for video recording on the viewfinder menu, and also Motorola Alert app to send messages to specified contacts in case of an emergency. The Alert app made its debut on the Moto E
