“The Moto X with a Walnut-finished rear panel is now available in the Indian market”
Motorola Mobility has introduced a new edition of the Moto X smartphone in the Indian market. The company has released the Moto X Walnut finished variant in the country for Rs 25,999, a tad higher than Rs 23,999 price of the regular variant. The Moto X in Walnut is exclusively available from Flipkart. Motorola had already started accepting orders for the wood finish variants of the phone last month and promised to start delivering in the second week of this month.
The Moto X’s main highlight is the customisation options it offers. Motorola is selling the phone with 16GB storage capacity and back panel options in five colours – black, white, blue, turquoise and red, all priced at Rs 23,999 each. A special edition with teak finish is also available in the country for Rs 25,999. The Moto X runs Android 4.4 KitKat with the original Google experience, without any custom skin on top. Another main highlight of the phone is that it comes with the Touchless control feature, which is a voice assistant to operate the phone without touching. Other features include a 4.7-inch 720p display, a 1.7GHz dual-core CPU, 2GB of RAM, a 10MP camera and water-resistant coating.
Motorola is planning to expand its Moto Maker service to more markets in the near future. If it happens, then hopefully you’ll will be able to order a customised Moto X in India too.
