After multiple rounds of leaks on the internet and getting the launch event cancelled at the last moment, one of the most anticipated Motorola smartphones got an introduction. Motorola finally launched the world’s first 200MP camera phone, the Moto X30 Pro, in China on Thursday alongside its latest foldable phone, the Moto Razr 2022, and the Moto S30 Pro. In the global market (including India), the Moto X30 Pro will launch as Moto Edge 30 Ultra, aka Moto Frontier, and the Moto S30 Pro as Moto Edge 30 Fusion. Moto X30 Pro comes in two colour options: White and Grey. It starts with 8GB RAM and 128GB which costs CNY 3,699 (approx. Rs 43,700) and goes up to 12GB RAM and 512GB which is priced at CNY 4,499 (approx. Rs 53,200).

Moto Razr 2022 is available in two colour options: Quartz Black and Tranquil Blue. The foldable phone is priced starting from CNY 5,999 (approx. Rs 70,900). Moto S30 Pro ships in two colour options – Black and Blue – and retails at a starting price of CNY 1,999 (approx. Rs 23,600).

Moto X30 Pro specifications

The USP of the Moto X30 Pro is its 200MP primary camera, making it the first phone in the world with such a sensor. The sensor supports 16-in-1 pixel binning, OIS, and 8K video at 30fps. The rear camera system also includes 50MP ultra-wide and 12MP telephoto sensors. A whopping 60MP snapper at the front handles the selfies and video calling requirements.

Moto X30 Pro flaunts a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ OLED panel that supports a 144Hz refresh rate. Powering the X30 Pro is Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS3.1 storage. It runs on Android 12-based MyUX skin out of the box.

The X30 Pro houses a 4,500mAh battery with support for 125W GaN fast charging to keep the light on. Connectivity features include 5G, a Type-C port for charging, and an in-display fingerprint scanner for security.

Moto Razr 2022 comes with a 6.7-inch pOLED 144Hz foldable panel and a 2.7-inch cover display. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC powers the device and you get a 3,500mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging powers the package. You can get up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage on Moto Razr 2022.
