The smartphone runs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It draws power from a 5,000mAh battery, which supports 20W fast charging.
The Motorola Defy will ship with a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel, which is interrupted by a waterdrop style notch that houses the phone’s 8MP selfie camera. At the back, we get a 48MP primary sensor a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The LED flash is also located inside the camera module. The iconic Motorola logo is surrounded by the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Moving on to what makes the Motorola Defy rugged, the smartphone comes with MIL-SPEC 810H certification, meaning that it can operate in extreme temperatures. It can also withstand toxic and corrosive environments and can survive a dunk in water for up to 35 minutes.
