After launching the Motorola Edge 30 Pro (a rebrand of Edge X30 in China) in India and globally, the brand appears to be readying to launch the vanilla Moto Edge 30. As evident from the moniker, it will be a slightly cheaper version of the Pro variant. This also means there will be compromises in terms of design and the underlying hardware. Now, while we wait for the announcement, live images of the phone have surfaced online. This shows the entire front and rear design of the phone.

The live images show some key specifications such as a 144Hz refresh rate, which could be an AMOLED panel. The back will house a triple camera system including an LED flash and the iconic Moto dimple. The handset can be seen in a Black colour option. 91mobiles recently shared the exclusive render of the phone, showing it in multiple colour options.

Motorola Edge 30 design

The Motorola Edge 30 design is almost similar to the Edge 30 Pro. It has a centre-positioned cutout for the selfie snapper, narrow bezels and last edges. There is a notable bezel running around the screen. The USB Type-C port is present on the bottom.

On the back, it has triple cameras arranged in a rectangular module alongside an LED flash. The volume rocker and power button are on the right spine. The phone can be seen in a Black colour option, with the camera module having a ‘silver’ coating for aesthetics.

Motorola Edge 30 specifications (expected)

The Motorola Edge 30 specifications have leaked online as well. It is said to come with a 6.55-inch P-OLED FHD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate (an option to go down to 60Hz). It is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ SoC paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage.

The phone is said to be equipped with a 4,020mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging technology. Moving to optics, the Motorola Edge 30 will have triple cameras, including a 50MP primary lens, a 50MP ultra-wide unit and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it could have a 32MP snapper for selfies and video chats.

The handset is likely to have an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, a 5G network, and boot Android 12 based MyUX custom skin out of the box.
